Fixed Dental Prosthesis
Fixed dentures are a dental treatment method used to permanently replace missing teeth. This is usually accomplished through dental implants or bridges and offers an aesthetic and functional solution that is similar to natural tooth structure. Fixed dentures address the problems caused by tooth loss, providing the patient with a healthy smile and strong chewing function.
In the prosthetic preparation phase, the dentist takes measurements and selects the color/form for the prosthesis. Then, dental technicians design and fabricate the custom-made denture to achieve an aesthetic appearance. The denture is placed by the dentist in accordance with the patient's oral structure.
